Power plant contractor suffers electrical burns during inspection
An investigation is being conducted to determine how a contract employee was injured while performing a routine inspection and maintenance at the Guam Power Authority's Cabras Power Plant Saturday morning.

Guam - An investigation is being conducted to determine how a contract employee was injured while performing a routine inspection and maintenance at the Guam Power Authority's Cabras Power Plant Saturday morning.
According to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lt. Ed Artero, E-911 received a report of an electrocution just before eight o'clock in the morning. The individual was transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital. According to GPA public information officer Art Perez it was determined that an individual suffered electrical burns while working on a transformer.
The individual is an employee of Tatung, a subcontractor of Temes, GPA's performance management contractor.
