Wanted Man Arrested at GIAA
Guam - A 24-year-old man arriving at the Guam International Airport Authority from Japan on January 12th was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers. B.S. Benites Micky was turned over to airport police for further processing. Micky was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Superior Court of Guam. He was wanted on a charge of simple assault.
"CBP's border authority over international inbound air traffic places our officers at the front line working to protect our nation's borders on a daily basis," said Steven B. King, CBP's port director in Guam. "This is just one example of how CBP works closely with local authorities to identify and apprehend wanted criminals," King added.
