Guam - Outgoing chief justice of the Supreme Court of Guam F. Philip Carbullido shared some of the accomplishments of the Judiciary during his three-year term. A strategic plan had been developed providing a roadmap for the judiciary to provide services and access to justice despite inadequate funding and resources.
"I am truly proud of what we have all accomplished in the last few years by working together, by setting worthwhile goals and by crafting solid strategies and concrete plans for achieving these goals," he told KUAM News.
As part of the strategic plan, the Judiciary was able to provide online court services and will soon launch its e-filing system. They've also established various specialty courts and will soon have a veterans court. The courts have also established a Talent Management Program and the Court Interpreter Registry Program.
Carbullido's term ends on Tuesday morning.
