Guam - After mechanical issues delayed their flight, the second wave of Army National Guard soldiers touch down at the United hangar in Tiyan around 12:30 Tuesday morning. The 223 uniformed men and women received a heroes welcome complete with a water salute and red carpet rollout.

The troops are part of the 600 deployed to Afghanistan last March. It was nearly two weeks ago the first wave of 280 soldiers returned home, reuniting hundreds of families.
