Guam - 230 of our island's deployed soldiers are anticipated to arrive late Sunday evening. According to National Guard Public Affairs Officer Major Josephine Blas, no confirmation of flight plans has been received from Camp Shelby as they are now contracting a charter flight through Delta Airlines. We should note that there are still 31 airmen from the Guam Air National Guard's 254th Security Forces Squadron and four soldiers from the Guam Army National Guard's 1990th Contingency Contracting Team deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
