Guam - Patrol officers are finding it more and more difficult to respond to emergencies around the island as patrol cars are breaking down and are inoperable.  Eight brand new Ford Interceptors are on island and have been sitting at the Department of Public Works for the last two weeks.

GPD spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the department is working as fast as it can to get the cars ready for the road.  The Interceptors were ordered months ago and were delayed as a result of a protest.  Balajadia says the department is working to get the vehicles safety inspected, registered and fitted with decals and police radios.
