Guam soldiers returning home soon
Guam - It's only a matter of days before Guam soldiers begin arriving on island soil. As we reported all Task Force Guam soldiers have left Afghanistan and are anxiously awaiting their return once demobilization has been completed at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. According to Major Josephine Blas it is anticipated that over one-hundred soldiers will arrive by mid next week just in time to celebrate the New Year. She adds that the national guard is finalizing travel arrangements for this first group of soldiers arrival. We should note that there are still over 30 Guam National Guards members who are still in Afghanistan but are assigned to different units.
