Guam - Accused murderer Keith Garrido is waiting for the court to set a trial date for his most recent case when he escaped from a Department of Corrections transport vehicle. Garrido pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder, home invasion, robbery, kidnapping, felony escape and aggravated assault.  He managed to get out of handcuffs and jump out of a DepCor van.

While loose, he broke into a Chalan Pago home and beat and robbed a woman, leaving her unconscious.  Garrido was already being held for the murder of Barrigada resident Nancy Mafnas.
