Guam - Notices of proposed adverse action will be issued Friday to Department of Corrections officers who were responsible for transporting inmates to court when accused murderer Keith Garrido escaped from the transport vehicle.  The agency director did not disclose what action he intends to take, but he can choose suspension, demotion or termination.

The department has said that Garrido managed to get out of handcuffs and jumped out of the van that did not have a locking mechanism to prevent the inmates from getting out.  Garrido attempted to break into two homes, eventually breaking into a third where he brutally beat and bound a woman and robbed her and fled.
