More tax refunds being mailed Thursday

Guam - While the Judiciary searches for funding, Governor Eddie Calvo this afternoon announced that 1,300 tax refund checks totaling $2.8 million are being printed tonight and will be in the mail tomorrow.

According to the governor for the first time anyone can remember a true income tax reserve exists. Calvo says after the $2.8 million payment there will still be $5.2 million the bank.
