Over 50 pigs captured in annual hunt

Guam - The hunt is over and a great hunt it was according to Christine Camacho from Bureau of Statistics and Plan Coastal Management. Over 100 participated rounding up more than 50 pigs...with the largest pig weighing over 200 pounds. Now that the pigs have been caught it's time to get ready for the Pork in the Park cook-off at the Adelup Beach Park on December 21 from 1-5pm. Anyone interested in competing in the event there are only two slots left. The categories for the cook off are best pit cooked pig and best pot cooked pig. There will also be free tasting, games, and entertainment for the kids. Prizes will be awarded at for the cook-off and the different hunting categories with first place taking home five hundred dollars. For more information call 475-9646.
