Man who hit power pole died from crash injuries

Guam - A 49-year-old man who lost control of his car and crashed into a power pole died from injuries he sustained in the crash.  The driver had been at the hospital since Sunday night.  Police are investigating the cause of the crash that occurred on Route 15 on the Back Road to Andersen Air Force Base.  The driver's identity has not yet been released.

His death marks the 17th traffic-related fatality this year to date.
