Guam - There was a temporary suspension of airport operations this afternoon as a Freedom Air plane made a hard landing. Airport marketing director Rolenda Faasuamalie says the aircraft was disabled and had to be towed off the runway while airport personnel did a check for any debris before any flights could take off or land.
Faasuamalie explains that a pilot was training and made the hard landing. He was the only person on the plane. United Flight 196, outbound to Narita, was affected and had a delayed departure after 2pm.
