My Village program heads to Dededo, Hagatna

Guam - Following the success of the "My Village" program in Yona and Inarajan, there's more in store for the initiative that brings GovGuam services right to your door step. While recently addressing the Mayors Council of Guam, Governor Eddie Calvo's deputy press secretary Phillip Leon Guerrero announced December will highlight both Dededo and Hagatna.
He said, "The My Village project is a two prong approach to really a grassroots program here in the government. We want to reinvigorate the pride in the village that all of us on Guam are so fond of when we reminisce about growing up."
The program launched in Yona in October and addressed issues within the village, including breakins, poverty, teenage pregnancy, and unemployment. The program continued for the month of November focusing on educational opportunities for residents, including computer classes for man'amko and GED programs.
