by Jolene Toves
Guam - Operation Guam Cares was out in full force as Government of Guam employees took part in a boot drive late this afternoon at several intersections on island to raise funds for the Philippine disaster relief efforts. Operation Guam Cares puts into motion several fundraisers by GovGuam and a challenge to Guam businesses to donate. All donations will be given to the Filipino Community of Guam to buy medicine and medical supplies for typhoon victims. Another round of boot drives will be held next week Friday again at the ITC and Micronesia Mall intersections.
