Additional charges handed down in federal drug case

Guam - A superceding indictment was handed down against Thomas Gogue Gamboa, Jr. He is charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine, attempted possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and forfeiture notice.

Gamboa was picked up by federal authorities last month after they discovered 50 grams of the drug Ice hidden in packages of Ring Pops.  The candy and drugs were found inside a package mailed from Arizona and Gamboa was picked up following surveillance by law enforcement. 

Gamboa is scheduled to appear in court on November 20.
