New company interested in giving Guam a new jail

Guam - While there is still no word on when Senator Brant McCreadie's bill for the renovation and construction of a new prison will make it out of committee, Senator McCreadie met with another interested party called Creative Constructions which is in the prison building industry and understands Guam's need for a new prison facility.

"Not only do they know our problems they know what happens if these problems become a reality and federal receivership becomes are reality and they know the costs that is attached to that," he said.

Designing prisons for a living this company hopes to offer a solution to Guam's 25-year problem. Senator McCreadie says he did write a letter two weeks ago to Senator Ben Pangelinan but has not received word on the status of his bill.
