Guam - Three months ahead of schedule renovations and improvements to the Gregorio D. Perez Marina or Agana Boat Basin, is complete.

Port general manager Joanne Brown told KUAM News, "We were only here less than eight months ago governor to do the ground breaking for phase two the amount of and I'm sure you see it more than we do we provide the port projects but you can see island wide all the improvements that have happened in the last few years that haven't happened in many years. The Port Authority is going through the most significant modernization that is has gone through since the navy that built and operated the port."

Brown says this is the first time since the building of the Agana Marina that is has received significant upgrades. She adds that the changes and upgrades in store for the Agat Marina will also be a first since its construction.
