Guam - A 36-year-old man is in stable condition after he was struck by a car in Anigua last night.  Police and medics responded to a report of an auto-pedestrian incident just after 7 o'clock in the evening near KFC on Marine Corps Drive.

Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says a 52-year-old woman was driving east on Route 1 when she struck a pedestrian who ran across the road from the beach.  Both the driver and the pedestrian were treated at Naval Hospital and were in stable condition.

Officer Balajadia says Highway Patrol officers are investigating and a citation may be issued.
