Police investigate auto-pedestrian incident

Guam - A 36-year-old man is in stable condition after he was struck by a car in Anigua on Tuesday night. Police and medics responded to a report of an auto-pedestrian incident just after 7 o'clock in the evening near KFC on Marine Corps Drive.
GPD Spokesperson Officer AJ Balajadia says a 52-year-old woman was driving East on Route 1 when she struck a pedestrian who ran across the road from the beach. Both the driver and the pedestrian were transported to Naval Hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
Officer Balajadia says Highway Patrol officers were at the scene and a citation may be issued.
