Firefighter arrested while on the job

Guam - A firefighter was arrested this morning while performing his duties.   The Guam Police Department has yet to release details of the arrest, but KUAM News has learned that the incident occurred Monday morning in Ordot while the firefighter was responding to a call for assistance from a woman and her minor son. 

Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Lieutenant Phil Camacho says he was made aware that the firefighter in question was arrested while performing his GFD duties. He was arrested and released this morning. Camacho was unable to make any more comments but confirmed an internal affairs investigation is underway. 

The firefighter is not on duty at this time.
