Superintendent reminds drivers to take caution

Guam - Department of Education superintendent Jon Fernandez reminds motorists to drive with caution, especially in times when students are en route to and from schools.

This reminder follows yesterday's car accident in Yona involving a Ford Mustang, a Ford Explorer, and a school bus carrying 51 students, two of which were transported to the hospital along with another female driver.

This marks the second car accident involving a loaded bus in the last two weeks.

Fernandez notes that on both occasions, the school bus was in the designated lane with the accident a result of the oncoming traffic.
