Guam - Families can screen their trick-or-treaters bags of candies at the Guam Memorial Hospital Radiology Department on Halloween night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Although parents are already encouraged to inspect all candies before allowing a child to eat them, an x-ray machine to screen bags of candy for metal hazards is an additional precaution parents may consider.

Children may also watch their candies undergo the x-ray process allowing them to gain familiarity and a comfort level with the technical procedure in a medical setting.

Participants are asked to use the emergency department entrance at the back of the hospital.
