Guam remains in Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 as Super Typhoon Sinlaku continues moving through the region—now tracking farther north, lowering the likelihood of direct typhoon-force impacts on the island.

Despite the shift, Guam is still under a tropical storm warning and typhoon watch, with tropical storm-force winds (39 mph or higher) expected to arrive Monday night across Guam and the CNMI.

At COR 2, all non-essential Government of Guam operations remain closed until further notice. Military installations are also in TCCOR 2, with most services significantly reduced. Commissaries, gas stations, and essential services are operating on limited hours, while U.S. Naval Hospital Guam is now providing emergency services only.

Officials stress this remains a serious weather event.

Residents are urged to complete final preparations, secure supplies, and limit movement to essential needs.
