Santa Rita man pleads not guilty to drug possession

Guam - A Santa Rita man who is accused of being involved in a conspiracy to bring drugs into the island pleaded not guilty today in the District Court. Thomas Gogue Gamboa, Jr. is charged with attempted possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
He was picked up by authorities during a controlled delivery of a mail package that contained 50 grams of crystal meth hidden in packages of Ring Pops. The feds are also seeking the forfeiture of $27,000 that was found at the time of Gamboa's arrest. The trial is set to begin on December 27.
