Guam - A status conference for Bertha Moore who signed a plea agreement and is cooperating with authorities was continued until January 2014. Moore was charged with Eric and Macrina Tedtaotao in a drug trafficking conspiracy case. The government requested a continuance but the reason for the delay was filed under seal.

It's unclear meanwhile if and when the couple will go to trial.

As we reported statements the couple made to the feds cannot be used during the trial. Those statements included alleged confessions of being involved in drug trafficking activities. Macrina alleged she was never read her rights or given an attorney despite making requests for one. The couple is accused of conspiring to bring large quantities of crystal methamphetamine from the Philippines to Guam.

The U.S. Attorney's Office did not respond to inquiries about the status of the couple's trial.
