Guam - Thomas Gogue Gamboa, Jr. has been indicted by a federal grand jury charged with attempted possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Gamboa was picked up by federal authorities earlier this month after they discovered 50 grams of the drug Ice hidden in packages of Ring Pops. 

The candy and drugs were found inside a package mailed from Arizona. 

During a controlled delivery.  Surveillance led authorities to a Santa Rita home and Gamboa was arrested.  The indictment also seeks the forfeiture of some $27,000 in cash that the federal government believes are proceeds from criminal activity. Gamboa is scheduled to appear in court on October 24 to answer to the charges.
