Guam - Three people charged in connection with a Nimitz Hill home invasion will be tried separately. Superior Court Judge Maria Cenzon granted the government's motion to sever in the case against Ray Tedtaotao, Anthony Mendiola and Kyle Cruz.

The three allegedly were involved in the incident where a woman was bound, beaten and robbed. The court granted the motion on the grounds that the defendants would be prejudiced if they were tried together.

Tedtaotao is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on October 31 with jury selection on November 4.  Mendiola is set to go to trial on November 14 and Cruz has a criminal trial setting on November 26. He is the only defendant that waived his right to a speedy trial.
