Friendship Basketball Tournament to be held at Phoenix Center

The Guam Basketball Confederation will be hosting the 2013 Friendship Basketball Tournament at the F.D Phoenix Center starting tomorrow night.

Guam - The Guam Basketball Confederation will be hosting the 2013 Friendship Basketball Tournament at the F.D Phoenix Center starting tomorrow night. Teams competing in the tournament are the Guam National Men's Basketball Team, the National University Bulldogs from the Philippines, Korea University and the Andersen Bombers.

John Lujan, the National Basketball Development Officer, told KUAM News, "We have the Friendship Tournament starting this Wednesday to Saturday with 2 games a night. Games will be nightly at 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Participating teams are a team from the Philippines, the National University from Manila, Korea University, the Andersen Bombers and the Guam National team. Tickets are available at selected Shell stations. That would be the tri intersection in Barrigada Shell, Dededo, Tamuning and Mangilao Shell as well as all three National Office Supply locations. Tickets will be available at the door and it is $10 and is good for both games for the night so come out and enjoy some basketball."
