Judge to decide on motion to sever in home invasion case

Guam - Superior Court Judge Maria Cenzon is expected to announce Wednesday whether she will grant a request to sever the trial of Anthony Mendiola, Ray Tedtaotao and Kyle Cruz. Cruz had filed a motion to sever as did the government.
Assistant Attorney General Gerald Henderson expressed concerns about having the three defendants tried together and what would be considered hearsay. The three allegedly were involved in the Nimitz Hill home invasion where a woman was bound, beaten and robbed. The court is expected to make her decision on Wednesday and then set the matter for trial.
