$75M contract awarded to bring back ship repair industry to Guam

Guam - What was formerly a thriving industry locally may be making a comeback, as a company has landed a contract to manage the what was originally known as the U.S. Navy Ship Repair Facility.

Cabras Marine Corporation was awarded the five-year, $75 million contact, with the focus on revitalizing ship building and repair on Guam.

The company has promise to hire local talent, with a job fair planned in the new few weeks.
