$3.4M in tax refunds sent to post office
Guam - More tax refunds were sent to the post office today but it was more than originally expected. According to Department of Administration director Benita Manglona, instead of the original $2.6 million, an additional $800,000 in tax refunds were also mailed bringing the latest batch of refunds to $3.4 million.
They add the refunds however still account for those who filed up to May 5 and are error-free returns. They say the increased amount was discovered while processing the latest batch this week.
