Guam - It was about two weeks ago when the Calvo Administration made payments for tax refunds for those who filed by April 15 officially meeting the deadline for the permanent injunction weeks ahead. Well more payments are on the way as the Administration announced $2.6 million in more tax refunds are headed to the post office this week.

Department of Administration director Benita Manglona said, "We know that we will meet the mandate and we keep that in mind that we have to pay the tax refunds within the six months and we have done that and will continue to do that."

Rev & Tax confirms that 1,200 checks will be in the mail by Thursday covering all Status "A" refunds that were filed up to May 5. Director John Camacho meanwhile says about $4.2 million in error and suspended returns still exist accounting for 938 returns with approximately half for 2012 and several dating back to 2008.
