Guam - Yet another procurement appeal delays upgrades to a Department of Education facility. Filed last Friday with the OPA's office, G4S Security Systems contend their $478,000 offer to provide fire alarm and sprinkler upgrades for Southern High School was the lowest bid.

Back in September however, DOE awarded the contract to Orion Construction Corporation for $500,000.

The security company requests the OPA overrule DOE's denial, stating the rejection of their bid was erroneous.

They also request that an automatic stay remain in effect and that G4S be considered for the contract.
