Police investigate armed robbery

Five Sinajana Pay-Less Supermarket employees were unharmed when three men armed with handguns robbed them and fired shots into the air just after 1:15 this morning.

Guam - Five Sinajana Pay-Less Supermarket employees were unharmed when three men armed with handguns robbed them and fired shots into the air just after 1:15 this morning.  GPD Spokesperson Sgt. Liz Flickinger reported that the five employees that included: cashiers, baggers, managers and a security guard were walking out of the store after it closed when three men approached them.  

One of the suspects fired three shots into the air and demanded for the cashier and manager's handbags giving them to the other two suspects and the three fled toward the rear side of Payless.  None of the employees carried any cash from the store at the time of the incident.
Police released the following
description of the suspects:

 

  • Suspect #1 -  Male/Possibly Local/early 30s/Long sleeve black shirt/Green shorts/face covered with black shirt
  • Suspect #2 - Male/Possibly Local/early 30s/Long sleeve black shirt/Black shorts/face covered with black shirt
  • Suspect #3 - Male/Possibly Local/early 30s/Long sleeve black shirt/Black shorts/face covered with black shirt

Sgt. Flickinger says police continue to investigate he incident and fortunately none of the victims were injured.
