Guam - Taking a unified stand in the fight against cancer, senators from the 32nd Guam Legislature took Guam Cancer Care's Join-The-Fight Pledge today.

Guam Cancer Care launched its "Join The Fight" Pledge in April this year with a mission to work directly with island leaders, the business community and non-profits in the local fight against cancer on Guam. Part of the commitment senators pledge include encouraging their employees to get screen for cancer, disseminate information regarding cancer screening and early detection and encouraging participation to take proactive steps in the fight against cancer.

Guam Cancer Care was established nearly two years ago and has since helped over 500 cancer patients get access to care.
