Man dead after being hit by car in Tamuning
<p>One person is dead after being hit by a car in Tamuning early Sunday. It happened along Governor Carlos Camacho road near Santa Fe around 6 am. The crash forced police to temporarily close off the northbound lanes. It’s since been reopened. GPD has yet to release further details but officers are investigating. This marks the 23rd traffic related death of the year.</p>

Officers from the Tumon Precinct Command responded to an auto-pedestrian crash on Governor Carlos Camacho Road, by Tun Juan Perez St. in Tamuning around 3:15 am. Police discovered a lifeless male on the outer northbound lane. Investigators say the driver of the car involved took off from the scene.
The crash forced police to temporarily close off the northbound lanes. It’s since been reopened.
The victim has not yet been identified. His death marks the 23rd traffic related fatality of 2018.
