Guam - The Guam Community College now offers courses in going green starting with an intro to renewable energy class this semester and photovoltaics in the spring.

Chair of the Technology Department Rick Tyquiengco says the courses pave the way to developing a certificate in renewable energy that could benefit entry-level technicians in the field.

GCC is partnering with the private sector to develop the new curriculum. Only 12 slots are available for classes this fall with registration starting Ictober 2nd.
