Guam - While they had intended to send out the latest batch of tax refund checks on Monday, the Department of Administration has instead sent $8 million in tax refunds to the post office today.

DOA director Benita Manglona confirms the 4,600 checks were cut and processed earlier than expected and mailed late this afternoon. And while she's unsure when the post office will actually distribute the checks, it's possible they can be in the mail as early as tomorrow. The refunds account for those who filed by April 15 without any errors.
