Day honors Gold Star mothers, families

Guam - Joined by parents, spouses and children of those who have family members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, Governor Eddie Calvo proclaimed the last Sunday of September in honor of Gold Star Mothers and Family's Day.

"For our Gold Stars Mothers and Families that are the family members of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Unconditional love for our community, it's important to commemorate this important event," he said.

Governor Calvo further encourages the people of Guam to learn how they can support our current military personnel, veterans and military families.
