Base rate increase approved by PUC

Guam - The Public Utilities Commission last night approved a 1.9% base rate increase requested by the Guam Power Authority. The rate increase goes into effect on October 1st.   GPA says the increase is necessary as the authority is seeing little to no growth in revenues and expenses are increasing.
