Detention officer arrested for theft

Guam - A Guam Police Department detention officer and civilian police reserve was arrested for allegedly stealing items from a tire shop.  Anthony P. Quichocho was arrested for theft of property and official misconduct.  GPD Spokesperson Officer AJ Balajadia says Quichocho allegedly stole some items from the tire shop located directly across Pigo Cemetery in Anigua on Tuesday night.  He was booked and released.

Balajadia says an internal affairs investigation will be initiated as a result of his arrest.

Quichocho has been placed on admin leave for 20 days
