Rowdy hoops game turns violent

Guam - A highly intoxicated man was stabbed on Monday night in Mangilao after throwing a basketball at another's person's face.  GPD spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says officers responded to a report of a stabbing on Guerrero Street in Mangilao. 

When officers arrived they found a 22-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.  Police determined that the victim had instigated a fight with the suspect by throwing the basketball resulting in the stabbing.  Balajadia says the suspect has been identified and the case was forwarded to the criminal investigation division for further review.
