Man arrested for pair of armed robberies

Guam - A Dededo man is behind bars for allegedly robbing two mom-and-pop stores on Saturday night. George Mafnas Reyes was arrested by police in Mangilao shortly after the second robbery.
Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the first armed robbery was reported at 8:46 at M Market in Anigua as a hooded gunman entered the store and demanded the money. The victim was able to get a good description of the suspect and also provided surveillance video of the robbery. "Later on in that evening around 11:05 another robbery was reported this time at Boeing Market," said Balajadia. "The owner of the establishment was able to follow the suspect and keep eye contact on the vehicle."
A black revolver, green hoodie and money was confiscated and Teyes was arrested for two counts of robbery, two counts of reckless conduct, two counts of terrorizing, and two counts use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.
