DPW breaks ground on Agfayan Bridge in Inarajan

The Department of Public Works today broke ground for the Agfayan Bridge Replacement Project at the Inarajan Pier facing Bear Rock.

Guam - The Department of Public Works today broke ground for the Agfayan Bridge Replacement Project at the Inarajan Pier facing Bear Rock.  Acting DPW director Jessie Palican said, "Bridge was inspected back in 2004 it showed it had a serious regarding the open passage way which created a lot of back up for the flood as well as erosion."

The project replaces the existing 40' bridge with a new 88' superstructure. The $4.6 million project is fully funded by the Federal Highway Administration and was awarded to Black Construction Corporation. Its scheduled to be completed next December.
