Guam - The Department of Education will start the DEED after school program on Monday. Deputy superintendent Rob Malay said, "Right now 25 of our elementary schools are getting set to open up the afterschool program, which everyone is familiar with as deed and that's how they are going to up on Monday with the deed program in place."

"Slowly but surely that deed program will be transitioning to a new program that is currently under review with the us department of education called aspire."

The new after school program for instructional remediation and enrichment or aspire. The program focuses on extended academics which is related to the common core state standards and activities which take place during the regular school day. The fees for the program will remain the same at 100 dollars per students each quarter.
