Guam - 31 airmen from the Guam Air National Guard's 254th Security Forces Squadron will be leaving in the next week for a six-month deployment to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

A special sendoff ceremony was held today at the Guard Readiness Center Barrigada.  They will be supporting the Air Force's Air and Space Expeditionary Force Mission focusing on base defense measures.  The airmen have been undergoing various pre-deployment training that included patrols, law enforcement skills and weapons qualifications.
