Guam - There's still no word on the status of an internal affairs investigation that has far exceeded the 60-day timeframe.

Customs director Pedro Leon Guerrero called for the investigation after it was determined that Customs officers illegally entered a Tamuning home and seized a large quantity of marijuana.

The bust resulted in the arrest of then-Guam Election Commission board member and legislative staffer Christopher Carillo. The case was ultimately thrown out because Customs officers failed to obtain the search warrant until after they had already entered the home. Leon Guerrero has not returned calls for comment on the status of the investigation.

Two weeks ago he said the investigation was nearly complete.
