2,500 refund checks to be mailed

Guam - More information now on the $6 million in tax refunds that will be placed in the mail this Friday. According to governor's communications director Troy Torres the refunds that are being paid out are for taxpayers that filed up to March 28th for a total of 2,500 checks that will be distributed. Governor Eddie Calvo ordered the release of the additional refunds following several messages on Facebook, news forums, phone calls and most recently feedback from the governor's first Families Fair.  This Friday's release follows $12 million in tax refunds that were paid out on August 1st.
