Guam - An assault complaint was filed with Port Authority Police.

Port Authority Equipment Operator II David Teixeira claims he was recently assaulted by a supervisor after questioning why Port employees were forced to set up canopies for Liberation Day and work on a float on government time rather than on a ship.

Teixeira recently submitted written testimony to the Guam Legislature regarding the reappointment of Ed Ilao to serve a second term on the Port Authority's board of directors.

In his testimony he alleged a climate of fear and intimidation at the agency.

The assault claim is under investigation.
